Great, Positive Book on Autism

I have enjoyed this book, which reads like a conversation among authors Matt & Nedi Safa, and the reader. I like how open and honest it is with everything it discusses, while always maintaining an overall positive sense about it. I would recommend it to others on the autism spectrum, as well as to parents of autistic children, and anyone who would like to gain the kinds of insights into autism that only an individual who has lived the path of having autism can offer.

Rare opportunity to hear both mother and adult son share their experience

I formerly worked in a foster care agency serving many children who fell somewhere on the autism spectrum. I wish I had this book at that time to share not only with families, but also with the staff seeking to help them.This mother and son,through the gift of their story, allow us the rare opportunity to see what the experience of our decisions feels like to a child who may not be able to articulate them, and a parent who consistently seeks to understand.
