Jacob M. Held is assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religion at the University of Central Arkansas. He has written extensively on philosophy and popular culture, having coedited James Bond and Philosophy and contributed to volumes on the Beatles, South Park, and Watchmen, to name a few.

This is a terrific book, rich in encouraging thought and reflection on life via Dr. Seuss's literature. Being familiar with Dr. Seuss's stories certainly helps, but one could explore this book without such a background and still be stimulated.

This books helps guides much deeper thoughts (and hopefully discussions) related to many big important ideas and ethics using our childhood favorite--Dr. Suess! If you have kids, or work with kids this is book is a must read! Very insightful, well done Mr. Held!
